After exceedingly high demand, 1960s folk rocker Paul Simon added a new show to his upcoming 2026 U.S. tour. The announcement was shared on Friday afternoon via Instagram.
Simon announced the North American leg of his "A Quiet Celebration" comeback tour on Tuesday. He is set to travel to 20 cities across the U.S. and Canada throughout early summer, commencing on June 4 in Palo Alto, California. However, due to high ticket demand, Simon decided to surprise fans with a second show in Lenox, Massachusetts on June 28.
His "A Quiet Celebration" tour kicked off in spring of 2025, seven years after his retirement. In 2018, Simon went on a farewell tour before stepping away from the road due to hearing loss and personal reasons. Fans thought it was the last they would see of him live, but the 84-year-old singer un-retired from touring, scheduling a series of intimate theatre shows. Since the first leg in early 2025, he has only continued to travel and perform, extending his "A Quiet Celebration" tour into 2026 with North American and European dates.
