Following a two-day closure due to water damage from a leak, the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Spring Street Courthouse reopened Friday in downtown LA.
“The Court appreciates the patience of those who were impacted by the temporary suspension of Superior Court operations at the Spring Street Courthouse earlier this week,” Presiding Judge Sergio C. Tapia II said in a statement Thursday announcing the reopening. “The safety of court users, court staff and judicial officers remains a top priority and the Court will continue to work diligently to ensure equal access to justice through the fair, timely and effective resolution of all cases.”
