Alice Cooper celebrated his 78thbirthday with two fellow rock superstars. The legendary singer rang in his special day on Feb. 4 with an outdoor celebration in Hawaii that included his rock and roll pals Sammy Hagar and Mick Fleetwood. Cooper’s longtime manager, Shep Gordon, was also part of the festivities.
In a video posted to TikTok and Instagram, a mustached and Hawaiian shirt-wearing Cooper hovered over a birthday cake decorated with green icing, a golf ball, and mini golf course flags. Fleetwood, 78, and Hagar, 78, were seen in the shot as the guests began to sing “Happy Birthday” to the rock legend at a table that had wine glasses and cans of ginger ale on it.
“Pick a key,” Cooper joked as the singers continued. After the song was done, Cooper asked if there was a “trick candle" in the cake, before blowing it out.
Hagar captioned the clip with, “Happy birthday @alicecooper i'm so glad the fire department stepped in about the amount of candles on the cake said it was a fire hazard. ? #funnight always a pleasure hanging with @mickfleetwoodofficial & @supermenschshep on Island.”

Cooper has been sober for more than 40 years, so it appears he skipped a traditional birthday toast. In 2025, he told People magazine he quit alcohol completely because he was unable to stop at one drink. "I have absolutely no desire to ever put alcohol in my mouth again, or any drug," he said.
The rocker's love for golf is also well known. Cooper has even said that golf saved his life. “I traded one bad habit for another habit, only this habit (golf) was a lot healthier,” he once told Billboard in an interview. “Golf ended up being a good trade-off.”
The golf-themed 78th birthday bash isn’t the first time Cooper has hung out with Hagar and Fleetwood. In April 2025, he was photographed with the Gordon, Hagar, and Fleetwood, as well as Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler, after they all had dinner together in Maui.
