Kristen Stewart has never been the same after portraying the late Princess Diana.
The Twilight star, who played Diana in the 2021 biopic Spencer, recently opened up about how the late royal's story has stayed with her even after filming wrapped.

In a new interview with the Telegraph published Thursday, Feb. 5, Stewart said she feels "haunted" by Diana, a feeling that has continued to linger for the actress.
"I still am [haunted]. I can't drive 'round this city, and Paris for that matter, without thinking about her," Stewart, 35, stated during the interview, which took place in London.
"I can cry about her at any moment," Stewart added while reflecting on, "All the love that poured out of this woman."

"She was plucked, plucked to death," Stewart continued of Diana, whose car was being chased by paparazzi at the time of her death.
"Her rebellious qualities felt so desperate, and so young and so vulnerable," Stewart said, noting that the high level of attention and scrutiny "does kind of soul suck."
By the end of filming, Stewart said, "I did feel a bit like a shell, and I think she did too. That was the point."

"I told [director] Pablo [Larraín] he was insane and he should probably hire someone else, but he refused to accept that," Stewart recalled, while explaining, "There were some massive distinctions between her and me. It was the statuesque thing. It was the eye color — I have green eyes; she has very famously blue eyes that match her ring. So I was like, 'Should we make the engagement ring green, then?'"
Larraín, however, told Stewart that she would need to "detach" from the superficial aspects of the role, telling her instead, "This is about spirit."
