There may not be quite so much coverage on the BBC as in previous years, but the first Games in a European timezone since Turin 2006 should still draw a crowd, with 13 hours of live BBC coverage per day across BBC One and BBC Two.

The BBC boasts TV rights throughout the Games, but is restricted to one live channel, plus one live stream online.
The corporation will broadcast over 450 hours of action with BBC One or BBC Two to show the best of the live action each day, featuring a studio set on location in Cortina d’Ampezzo, the ski resort town where many events will be staged.
Coverage will be supplemented by plus an Olympics Extra online feed to be shown on BBC iPlayer throughout each day of the Games.
The Games formally begin with the opening ceremony on Friday 6th February and run until Sunday 22nd February.
