It’s the latest step in efforts to renovate the historic building on East Main Street by 2030, the building’s 100th anniversary. RBTL has owned part of the Auditorium Theatre portion of the building since 2004 and bought the entire building in March of 2023. RBTL said that, to date, almost $20 million has been committed to ‘Project Resouration’, with the total transformation cost estimated to be $65 million.

Canal Street District Rehabilitation in Lyons

Lyons is getting $2 million to remove and redevelop at least seven hazardous buildings. The town will then create a new 55,000-square-foot commercial and residential mixed-use space. It will include at least 25 affordable housing units for seniors, people with disabilities, and veterans.
