Former Bachelor host Chris Harrison is set to host another dating series!
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Emmy-nominated casting director Lindsay Liles shared a casting call for a new show hosted by Harrison via Instagram. According to a description, the new series is looking for contestants "dating for a traditional marriage."
"A prominent streaming service is casting single men and women (21+) who want a traditional, marriage-minded partnership built on commitment and shared values," the post read. "We're looking for singles who believe in clear roles, long-term commitment, and building a life together — and who are dating with real intention."
The new show marks Harrison's first return to reality TV since being ousted from The Bachelor in 2021. However, in the post's comment section, fans were not thrilled with the premise of the series.
"What is a 'traditional marriage?' And what exactly are 'clear roles?' And what specific shared values? We need you to say the quiet part out loud," wrote one commenter.
"I would love for the show to define what a 'traditional marriage' is to them," wrote another. "Oh no. Tradwife TV. @chrisbharrison WTAF What happened to you when you moved to Texas?" added a third.
"I am saying this as a long time Bachelor fan, is this a joke? What does that even mean, a traditional marriage?" said a fourth. "Feels extremely tone deaf given the pressure/focus on 'traditional' values from our government/country. Interesting."
Despite the show's controversial premise, several members of Bachelor Nation — including Ashley Iaconetti Haibon, Jared Haibon, Lauren Luyendyk, and Hannah Ann Sluss — left words of support for Harrison in the comments.

Harrison hosted all Bachelor franchise shows from The Bachelor‘s premiere in 2002 until 2021. Harrison left the show following a controversy where he defended season 25 contestant Rachael Kirkconnell when photos surfaced of her attending a racist antebellum themed party.
Since leaving The Bachelor franchise, Harrison has worked with Dr. Phil's production company Merit Street Media, launched a podcast titled The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever, and married Entertainment Tonight reporter Lauren Zima in 2023.
