Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy Guthrie, is still missing after being abducted from her Arizona home—and police say blood was found at the crime scene.
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times that blood and signs of forced entry were discovered at the Tucson home where Nancy, 84, was taken against her will. Police did not confirm who the blood belonged to.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) launched a search for Nancy on Sunday, Feb. 1, describing her as a “vulnerable adult” who was last seen at her home on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 31. The PCSD declared her home a crime scene on Monday, Feb. 2, revealing later that day that she Nancy was “taken” from her residence “against her will,” in the middle of the night.

However, Kruetz also revealed that possible DNA testing is pending but could still take several days. Prima County Sheriff Chris Nanos explained, “We took some samples that we hope will have enough profile of a DNA—profile that gives us some identification as to what we’re looking at,” he said.
Savannah took to Instagram on Monday to ask her followers for their continued prayers amid her mother's ongoing search effort.
