K-Pop Supergroups Comeback Performance is Heading to Netflix — What We Know

BTS and Netflix? Seems like a team-up that was bound to happen.

Fans already know the iconic K-pop group is set to make their long-awaited return in March, releasing their first album in years — titled Arirang. BTS had taken a years-long hiatus so its members could complete their country-mandated military service.

But now, to accompany the LP release, Netflix just announced a special livestream performance, BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang, which will descend on the platform March 21.

It will be the first global performance of the album — which is being released the day before on March 20 — and broadcast live from Gwanghwamun, a Seoul landmark that offers views of the iconic Gyeongbokgung palace, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Added to that, following the live stream, Netflix will unveil BTS: The Return, an “intimate documentary film chronicling the making of the band’s new album,” following the epic livestream, premiering March 27 on the streaming giant, THR also noted on Monday, Feb. 2.
