One of rock's most enduring '90s acts is officially gearing up for a big year on the road.
Godsmack has announced a massive 2026 tour, marking another major live chapter for the multi-platinum hard-rock band more than three decades into their career. The newly revealed run will be star studded: special guests Stone Temple Pilots and Dorothy make the lineup a cross-generational draw for rock fans.
The 2026 outing will span North America throughout the spring and summer, kicking off with a performance at Welcome to Rockville festival in Daytona Beach. The tour resumes after a short break in September. An artist pre-sale and VIP sales begin Tuesday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. local time, and general tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 6 at 10 a.m. local time, and they are available through Godsmack's website.
Godsmack emerged in the late 1990s with a heavier, post-grunge sound that helped define rock radio at the turn of the millennium. Led by frontman Sully Erna, the band is known for chart-topping singles, arena-sized live shows, and a loyal fanbase that has followed them through multiple eras of rock.
"I am really proud of the way the band has stayed together over the years," frontman Sully Erna said in a recent interview. "We got through a lot of tough times when some bands would let their egos get in the way and would have broken up. There were lots of drugs, drinking, and hangovers, but we got help and now we’re a really tight family. We were able to fight to get to the other side."
The addition of Stone Temple Pilots adds another layer of legacy appeal. The band remains one of the most influential alternative rock acts of the 1990s, with a catalog that includes era-defining hits and continued touring decades after their breakthrough.
Rounding out the bill is Dorothy, whose blues-inflected hard-rock sound has made her a standout on modern rock playlists and festival lineups in recent years.
Together, the lineup positions the 2026 tour as a must-see event for fans of '90s rock and its modern successors, blending legacy acts with a contemporary edge.
