On Monday, Feb. 2, the NBC morning show cohost, 54, shared a message to concerned viewers in the wake of her 80-year-old mom being reported missing in Arizona.

"On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support," Guthrie's statement, also shared on Today's Instagram grid, began. "Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom."

On Sunday, Feb. 1, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) launched a search for Nancy, describing her as a "vulnerable adult" who was last seen on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 31 at her home near East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
