Six Flags is rolling out one of its biggest season-pass shakeups in years, changing how Gold passes and memberships work starting in 2026—and for frequent parkgoers, the update could mean more flexibility and significantly more value.
On Feb. 2, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced that all 2026 Gold season passes and memberships will now include regional park access, replacing the long-standing model that limited Gold passholders to their home park only. Under the new structure, Gold passholders will be able to visit multiple parks within their geographic region using a single pass.
The new regional system divides parks into four areas—West, Texas, Midwest and East—giving guests access to a curated group of destinations close to home. Texas regional access launches first, with the remaining regions rolling out throughout February. As each region goes live, details will appear directly on park product pages and benefits grids.
“We’re redefining what a season pass or membership can be,” said John Reilly, president and CEO of Six Flags, in a press statement. “By including multiple parks with every Gold pass, guests can explore more rides, more events and more experiences all with one affordable pass. We’ll unlock more fun and adventure at an unbeatable value.”

The change arrives alongside a limited-time spring promotion designed to lower the barrier to upgrading. At select parks, guests will be able to purchase a Gold season pass for the price of a Silver pass, effectively receiving a free upgrade. The offer will roll out in February, with participating parks varying by region and specific dates and pricing listed on individual park websites.
The timing is notable as many Six Flags parks prepare to debut major new attractions and anniversaries in 2026. Several locations across all four regions are set to introduce headline-making rides, immersive family experiences and expanded themed areas—meaning Gold passholders will be able to experience more of what’s new without purchasing separate park tickets.

Existing Gold passholders and members will also see added benefits. Guests who already purchased a 2026 Gold pass or membership will automatically receive regional access once their area launches. Those who purchased an All-Park Passport will receive a complimentary upgrade to the Prestige level on Feb. 27. Meanwhile, guests who bought Gold passes or memberships during the 2025 MVP Sale will retain all-park access through 2026, transitioning to regional access in 2027 if their memberships remain active.
For visitors who want the broadest access and highest tier of perks, the Prestige season pass and membership will continue to include all-park access across the Six Flags portfolio.
Full details on regional launches, benefits and limited-time offers are available at individual park websites throughout February, or at sixflags.com.
