Bad Bunny sent a bold political message about ICE at the 2026 Grammy Awards during his acceptance speech—and it left some viewers with "chills."

While accepting his Grammy after winning the Best Música Urbana Album category for his album, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, Bad Bunny—whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio—didn't mince words with his response to ICE's increasingly aggressive presence in U.S. cities.

"Before I say thanks to God, I'm gonna say ICE out," he said, as the audience erupted into cheers and gave him a standing ovation.

Bad Bunny continued, "We're not savages. We're not animals. We're not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans."

After another round of applause, he added, "Also, I want to say to the people, I know it's tough not to hate on these days. And I was thinking, sometimes we get contaminados [contaminated], I don't know how to say that in English. The hate gets more powerful... The only thing that is more powerful than hate is love."

To conclude his acceptance speech, Bad Bunny implored, "Please, we need to be different. If we fight, we have to do it with love. We don't hate them. We love our people. We love our family. And that's the way to do it. We love. Don't forget that, please."

Another fan shared, "Respect to him for his honesty and courage in expressing how he feels. The Grammys are meant to honor art and cultural impact, and this moment absolutely delivered on that."

Someone else declared via X, "YES Bad Bunny!! Speaking truth to power on that stage. 'We are humans and we are Americans' — chills and respect ??✊?."

Not everyone agreed with his sentiments, like one X user who commented, "NO class. Not the place for politics."

A second viewer wrote, "Hes so performative its insaneeee?."

Meanwhile, a different X critic claimed, "He doesn't love America... he doesn't even hide it..."
