Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor should give evidence to authorities investigating the sex crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, Sir Keir Starmer has said.
The former Duke of York has seemingly been pictured in newly released evidence crouching over the body of a young woman who was lying on the ground.
Asked whether Mountbatten-Windsor should be forced to testify, Starmer said: “I have always approached this question with the victims of Epstein in kind. Epstein’s victims have to be the first priority.
“As for whether there should be an apology, that’s a matter for Andrew. But yes, in terms of testifying, I have always said anybody who has got information should be prepared to share that information in whatever form they are asked to do that. You can’t be victim centred if you’re not prepared to do that.”

Good morning and welcome to our coverage.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor should give evidence to authorities investigating the sex crimes of Jeffrey Epstein, Sir Keir Starmer has said.
The former Duke of York has been pictured in newly released evidence crouching over the body of a young woman who was lying on the ground.
The new photograph came as part of a haul of pictures and written messages released by the US Department of Justice this week amid ongoing anger over the failure of Epstein’s associates to account for their role in his offences.
Speaking at the conclusion of his tour of China and Japan, the Prime Minister said that Mountbatten-Windsor should tell American authorities everything he knows about the late paeodophile, who died in prison in 2019.
The Oversight Committee of the US House of Representatives is conducting an investigation into Epstein’s activities and may call the ex-prince as a witness.
