As far as the public knows, Thompson doesn’t have a wife. He does seem open to the idea of marriage, or at least long-term commitment, though. When speaking about his Bridgerton character’s notoriously philandering ways, he compared playing the field to browsing in a bookstore.
“You think, ‘Where do I start? I want to read all of them,’” Thompson said. “And obviously in your life, you can’t read all the books. You have to pick the ones that make sense at the time. And some might be good, and some might be bad, and some will really change your life, but you can’t read all of them. Similarly, I think that’s true with relationships. I think that speaks to Benedict."
While his character's desire to give love freely is “nice up to a point,” Thompson continued, “after a while, it stops you from building anything meaningful.”

Are Luke Thompson and Harriet Cains still together?
