Henderson missed two games with a left shoulder injury sustained in the lead-up to last Saturday’s game against Alabama, while Carey was dealing with a hyperextended left leg sustained in the Vols’ road win at Alabama.
Henderson is averaging 2.5 points and 1.6 assists in 15 games this season. Carey is averaging 8.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists in two starts over 20 games this season.
Auburn and Tennessee have a storied basketball rivalry, with the Vols owning an 82-46 record against the Tigers in a series that began in 1927. Tennessee won the last meeting 70-65 in the 2025 SEC Tournament semifinals and also won the last game in Knoxville (a 92-84 victory in 2023).
