Four days after a disappointing road loss to No. 23 Alabama, the Missouri Tigers bounced back in a big way Saturday – earning an 84-79 victory at home against Mississippi State.
The Tigers’ win could have come at a big cost, however, as Mizzou sophomore Annor Boateng was stretchered off the court after a gruesome leg injury midway through the second half.
Boateng went up for a dunk attempt with 10:46 remaining in the game but slipped and immediately reached for his left leg. The SEC Network immediately cut away while trainers attended to Boateng, who was able to get up on his own and acknowledge the crowd while sitting on the stretcher with his leg heavily braced.

Jayden Epps led all scorers with 23 points for Mississippi State (11-11, 3-6), with Josh Hubbard scoring 20 of his 22 points in the second half.
