After a week of practice before the Senior Bowl on Saturday, one former Arizona State Sun Devil is catching the eye of NFL scouts and analysts.
Offensive lineman Max Iheanachor was listed as one of NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah’s top 10 Senior Bowl standouts.
Iheanachor went viral for a one-on-one rep he won against Michigan EDGE Derrick Moore, who apparently felt a type of way for having lost the battle.

The 6-foot-5, 325-pound right tackle landed at No. 41 on Jeremiah’s top 50 prospects list released Tuesday, and following three days in Mobile, Alabama, Iheanachor garnered more praise from the analyst.
Iheanachor looks the part of 6-foot-5 and 325 pounds with good length. The thing that stood out to me, though, was the continued growth I saw from him over the course of the week. He took to the coaching he received here and adjusted, taking a leap on the second day of practice. Keep in mind Iheanachor, who grew up playing soccer and basketball, didn’t begin his football career until 2021.
Iheanachor played three seasons at ASU, including a streak of 26 straight games played over 2024-2025. In 860 snaps this past season, he allowed 14 pressures, three quarterback hits and zero sacks for a Pro Football Focus grade of 73.6.
Arizona State RT Max Iheanachor was a “winner” on day 2 of practice.
Coordinated athlete in space, esp for 325 pounds. His hand use and awareness continue to improve. Exciting upside here. pic.twitter.com/00oQ2Y2HOc

Jeremiah has Iheanachor as the seventh-best offensive tackle behind Utah’s Spencer Fano, Miami’s Francis Mauigoa, Clemson’s Blake Miller, Georgia’s Monreo Freeling, Alabama’s Kadyn Proctor, and Utah’s Caleb Lomu heading into the 2026 draft.
Having to compete in a stacked position class, the lineman’s Senior Bowl performance may help him stand out moving forward.
He might just be scratching the surface of his potential. I view him as a likely second-round pick with a chance to sneak into the first round.
Iheanachor is the third former Sun Devil projected to go inside the first two rounds alongside wide receiver Jordyn Tyson and defensive back Keith Abney II.
If he chooses to participate, Iheanachor will have the chance to further improve his draft stock in the NFL combine from Feb. 24 to March 3 and ASU’s pro day later in the process.
