Iconic ‘90s Heavy Metal Band Announces Change Ahead of Final Australian Tour

As Sepultura prepares to hit the Australian stages for the last time, the heavy metal band has announced slight changes regarding the upcoming tour.

2026 will be a jam-packed year for the four-member band, taking them on back-to-back performances in major cities across North America, Europe and beyond.

Honoring the band’s 40 years of hardcore rock and cementing their influential legacy in heavy metal, the iconic Brazilian band continues its farewell world tour.

In an Instagram post, Sepultura updated fans, especially their Australian supporters, on the tour lineup.

Kicking off on March 20, the band will perform their first show in Perth before heading to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, with the farewell Australian tour concluding in Brisbane.

However, due to overwhelming demand from fans, the “Refuse/Resist” hitmaker added a second night in Sydney following the sell-out of the first show.

“Australia, we’re excited to add an extra Sydney show on March 26 to our Final Australian Tour. Tickets are on sale now — don’t wait too long if you want to celebrate with us,” the caption reads.

The quartet revealed their disbandment in December 2023, bringing nearly 40 years of musical legacy to a close.

To celebrate, they treated fans to a Celebrating Life Through Death farewell tour, which originally kicked off in 2024 in Brazil.

As the tour continues its global run, Sepultura has also booked its final North American and European dates.
