In the game of parenting, Olivia Culpo believes San Francisco 49ers football player Christian McCaffrey deserves the title of MVP.
“I always knew he would be a really good dad because he’s a really good person,” Culpo, 33, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while celebrating her partnership with Heluva Good! Dips before Super Bowl LX. “He has a really good example because his parents are great.”
While McCaffrey’s skills on the football field helped the 49ers land a spot in the playoffs this season, Culpo believes it’s his moves away from Levi’s Stadium that are extra special.
When the football games are over, McCaffrey, 29, loves coming home to spend time with daughter Colette, who was born in July 2025.
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey's Relationship Timeline
“He will be such a good example and protector to her. I know that she’ll always be able to feel like she has someone who loves her more than anything,” Culpo gushed to Us. “I feel like everybody deserves to feel that.”
While baby Colette may just be six months old, Olivia already sees an extra special father-daughter relationship building. It’s the kind of love that reminds her of her own bond with dad, Peter Culpo.
“I’m also so close with my dad, and I appreciate what a great father he is for me, and I really do feel like I’m a daddy’s girl,” Olivia explained. “I just feel like that’s what they’re going to be like, too. It’s a really beautiful thing to see so early on. She loves her dad, and little girls really do. You see the way that they light up with their dad.”

“It will probably be friends, family, nieces, nephews, children. We will probably have a little bit of a pool day, because we’ll be in Los Angeles,” Olivia revealed. “We’ll play pool also, because we love to play pool at the pool table, lots of grilling. In addition to me cooking, there will be drinks. The whole nine. Some people might be there for the halftime show, but it’s OK. There will be a lot of eating, that’s for sure.”
One thing guests can count on at Olivia’s house is plenty of Heluva Good! Dip.
The Next Gen Chef host will be heading to the grocery store before game time to pick up her favorite dips, including the Mike’s Hot Honey and cheddar flavors.

“I personally love the French Onion the best, and I will have that among all the other dips with chips for Super Bowl Sunday,” Olivia teased. “We’re a big dip family in general. We’ll have vegetables, calzones, pizza, breadsticks, wings, chicken fingers, everything you need to get your Heluva Good! Dips for.”
Until then, Olivia is enjoying the off-season with a little less traveling and even more bonding with her husband and daughter.
“I don’t think anything prepares you for the amount of love that you have for something mutually,” Olivia shared. “Your bond is way deeper. You have something that means so much to you, and you also want to show up as your best self for your baby, and then you become a better partner to each other.”
