Poker is having a moment.
Between high-stakes cash games airing on PokerGO, the 2026 PGT Kickoff series kicking off at Aria in Las Vegas, and industry reports projecting the online poker market to nearly double to $6.9 billion by 2030, the card game is experiencing a serious resurgence. And some very familiar faces are right in the middle of it.
The latest celebrity to join the action? Jennifer Tilly.
On Saturday, January 24, the 67-year-old Bride of Chucky star dropped a carousel on Instagram of herself "Playing on @pokernightinamerica ♠️♥️♣️♦️." The photos featured selfies, group shots, and plenty of poker chips.

— Poker Night in America (@PokerNightTV) January 23, 2026And Tilly is no casual player. The Academy Award-nominated actress has over $1 million in career poker earnings and made history in 2005 as the first celebrity ever to win a World Series of Poker bracelet. She was inducted into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame in 2022 and has been a regular fixture on televised poker for years.
But it's not just Hollywood getting in on the moment.
Over in Las Vegas, poker regular and tech entrepreneur Sam "Senor Tilt" Kiki has been battling it out at the PokerGO Studio's Super High Roller Cash Game, which kicked off January 26 and runs through January 28. "All you have to do to qualify for the ten thousand is tune into the stream. I'm gonna make little notes during the stream of like memorable hands or moments and stuff, and at the end of Tuesday night I'm gonna host a quiz on my IG Live," he said in a clip posted to X (formerly Twitter). "Whoever answers the questions the fastest and gets the most points is gonna win the ten grand. I might split it up to $5,000. We'll see how I feel Tuesday night."
For those bummed they missed the original date, Kiki took to the platform again on January 28, writing, "This contest getting moved to tomorrow or Thursday. Please follow my IG stories so you can be ready. Right now focusing on the 2 winners for Miami."

Kiki is the founder and CEO of Monkey Tilt, a Web3 and crypto-integrated gaming platform that raised over $50 million in funding in 2024 alone, according to Forbes. In a press release, Kiki described it as a platform meant to “upend what we think of as the traditional gaming experience.”
While Kiki and Tilly are currently at different events, they actually have history at the felt. In November 2025, the two sat at the same table during a special High Stakes Poker livestream on PokerGO, alongside Doug Polk and Santhosh Suvarna. That same season featured comedian Kevin Hart, who famously battled Kiki in a $424,500 pot during Season 15 of the show.
