Washington acquired rookie catcher Harry Ford in the trade sending hard-throwing reliever Jose A. Ferrer to Seattle. Ford should get run as Blake Butera’s primary catcher. Former top prospect Keibert Ruiz hasn’t lived up to expectations and now looks ticketed for a backup job. Drew Millas and catcher/utility player Mickey Gasper are on the 40-man roster.
