Following an up-and-down campaign that ended in sour fashion, Kalen DeBoer and Alabama have made plenty of changes this offseason.
One of the many moves the program made was to part ways with second-year offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic.
In his place will step in Adrian Klemm, a former Super-Bowl winning lineman who boasts stints with UCLA, Oregon, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots on his résumé. Klemm was last seen spending the 2025 season as a senior defensive analyst at USC.
Following the announcement of the news, DeBoer was asked about it while attending Senior Bowl festivities in Mobile, Alabama, on Wednesday.
When it came to why he thought change was needed at the spot, DeBoer kept his answer simple and to the point.

Injuries at the tailback position certainly played a factor, but the O-line shouldered some of the blame as well. That unit also gave up 32 total sacks, which did throw a wrench in an otherwise efficient offense.
