Mark Pope’s team has now lost 4 games by 15 or more points this season. The Wildcats have trailed by at least that many points in countless other games this year, too, including miracle victories over LSU and Tennessee in mid-January that have kept Kentucky just above the bubble fray in bracket projections. For a team that was projected as a national title contender at the beginning of the season, this is unacceptable.
Both the Wildcats and Commodores take to the road for another SEC affair on Saturday. Kentucky heads to Fayetteville to face old friend John Calipari and Arkansas (6:30 p.m. E.T., ESPN) while Vanderbilt travels to Ole Miss (8:30 p.m. E.T., SEC Network).
