Though he was likely glad to have put a smile on someone else's face, the popular radio host and TV personality was quick to share the aftermath of his good-hearted gesture on social media.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 27, Bones revealed that he got drenched in mud from head to toe after assisting someone else who was stranded in a vehicle amid Winter Storm Fern, which impacted several states across the country, including Tennessee.
“So, there was a guy who was stuck, and I wanted to help because there was ice,” Bones explained in a video, included in his post. “Then he spun so much on the ice it turned into mud.”
“I wanted to help. So, we’re pushing, and I wanted to help,” he continued while looking helpless in his dirty clothes. “.... I helped. He got out.”
The clip includes the caption “Always there for you guys,” and shows Bones’s face and signature eyeglasses full of mud specks, making him nearly unrecognizable. In follow-up photos, the former Dancing with the Stars winner’s clothes are also drenched in mud. His expensive Louis Vuitton shoes coated with dirt may have cost Bones more than he had hoped, but the final photo in the slideshow of images proves he’s simply happy to help as he gives two thumbs up, despite being uncomfortably dirty from paying it forward.
Bones and his wife, Caitlin Parker, are currently expecting their first baby together, due sometime in 2026. And, fans and followers who caught his mud-stained clothes made sure to crack a few jokes about his upcoming role as a newfound father.
“Unintentional training for changing diapers!” One person wrote in the comment section of the post, while another added, “Just be glad it’s not baby blowout yet.”
“Hey, at least it's not baby poop! That's yet to come,” another follower said.
His Power Went Out
Though happy to help, Bones revealed he has been without power during the storm, which brought down several trees and power lines.
“We have no heat. But we have each other,” he shared in a separate post, which featured him warming up near a fireplace with his English Bulldog Stanley.
