After losing another job and a birthday mishap, his wife, Miranda (Field), wants a divorce.

    She's given sole custody of the children, with Daniel onlybeing granted visitation if he gets a steady job. Once learning that Miranda is looking for a nanny, he uses his skills to alter his voice to pose as an elderly woman named Mrs. Doubtfire. He goes in disguise and lands the job in the hopes of spending time with his chidlren.

    Mrs. Doubtfire was a success, having earned over $441 million at the box office against its $25 million budget. It quickly became one of Williams' most talked-about movie roles.

    Fans will also get to see Williams in another movie franchise role on Feb. 1. Netflix will also begin streaming Ben Stiller's Night at the Museum and its two sequel installments.
