Matthew Modine's most recent political statement is getting rave reviews from several Stranger Things fans.
The 66-year-old actor has shared a number of political messages on social media to denounce the continued ICE presence in Minneapolis and the shooting deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti.
In his latest message posted via Instagram on Monday, Jan. 26, Modine explicitly expressed his opinion that Donald Trump has "blood on his hands" from both Good and Pretti's deaths, and many of his Stranger Things fans are now applauding him for speaking out against the president.

In his post on Monday, Modine shared a message that read, "Donald Trump says his supporters are a loyal bunch, so loyal, in fact, that the billionaire could get away with murder and his fanbase wouldn't bat an eye."
"Alex Pretti & Renee Good," the post continued. "Their blood is on his hands."

Even though his character was an antagonist in the hit Netflix series, many of Modine's fans seem to be on the actor's side when it comes to his stance on real-life events going on in the U.S., with one user commenting, "Papa for President??❤️" under Monday's post.
