Jessie James Deckers Absolutely Insane Storm Update Has Fans All Saying the Same Thing

Jessie James Decker had plenty of fans saying the same thing about her "scary" post-storm footage, highlighting the damage done as Winter Storm Fern swept through Nashville.

According to the Tennessean, three people died in the state of Tennessee as a direct result of the blizzard, which left over 200,000 residents without power after the temperature plummeted, bringing freezing rain. The country sweetheart, who has lived in the area for nearly two decades, says she's "never seen anything like this" before.

"This is what one night of an ice storm did in Nashville, TN," she explained over a collection of footage uploaded to Instagram late on Monday, Jan. 26, showcasing what, at a quick glance, looked like a gentle winter wonderland that quickly turned into a nightmare.

Her Own Backyard Turned Into a Mine Field

The couple's property was covered in a sheet of ice, and throughout countless different clips, branches suddenly snapped off the surrounding trees, with the startling sounds of them splitting quickly followed by the sounds of the snow and ice collapsing after it.

The limbs fell on their neighbors' cars, compressed power lines, and, in some cases, practically split the entire tree in half, all while the clouds continued to roll across the sky ominously.

"I've never seen anything like this. Trees just falling everywhere, you can just hear it, it's just 'Crack! Crack! Crack!'" she described.

Despite the extent of the damage at her own home, she recognized that "it’s even worse out there" in other parts of the city, state, and country, before sending gratitude to those working to repair powerlines and respond to emergency calls in the poor weather. "We can’t even imagine what you’re going through or how tirelessly you’re working to help our community."

Fans were horror-struck by the terrifying footage, in complete agreement that even the aftermath of the winter storm was "so scary!"

"That is absolutely nuts!! ? I’ve never seen anything like it," one wrote, while another shared their own experience with similar damage, writing, "It’s absolutely insane here! When the trees fall it sounds like a bomb is going off."

"It’s so scary!" another emphasized. "The sound is indescribable!"

"It's both so scary and so beautiful," someone else admitted with wonder.

"Girl, you may want to go inside," others warned, worried she or her husband, Eric Decker, might be struck by an unexpected collapse.

Much of the country was slammed over the weekend as the massive stormfront moved from south to north, but, naturally, southern states were less equipped to handle extensive amounts of snow and ice.

Tim McGraw, who also lives near Music City, shared an unsettling photo of a vehicle navigating a road littered with broken branches, too. “Woke up to the damage across Nashville this morning and my heart sank,” he said, going on to encourage fans, “If you need help, ask. If you can help, go.”
