Bonnie Raitt's summer just got a whole lot busier.
The '90s rock and blues icon, 76, announced that she is extending her time on the road, adding quite a few new dates to her previously scheduled 2026 tour. The announcement of additional shows across the United States and Canada came on Monday via her website and social media, stretching the tour from May to September.
Despite her age, Raitt has maintained steady momentum writing, recording, and performing since she released her first album, self-titled LP in 1971. The update expands upon an already substantial tour that has kept Raitt filling venues steadily across North America. The additional dates are a tell-tale sign of enduring relevance, loyal fan base and continued touring success.
Raitt also announced an appearance supporting Brandi Carlile's Echoes Through the Canyon at The Gorge Amphitheatre on May 30, 2026.
Throughout 2025, Raitt toured across the United States and Europe, and even shared the stage with guests like Jimmie Vaughan and The Tilt-A-Whirl Band performing songs from extensive catalog.
Raitt's full touring schedule is particularly poignant given that she underwent surgery in 2023 resulting in postponed tour dates. She made a full recovery, and while every now and again rumors of a farewell album or tour circulate, they're continually debunked: Raitt has no intention of slowing down any time soon.
"I love this, I don't want to give it up," Raitt shared in a 2017 interview. "My dad did it until he was 86, look at B.B. [King], and Tony Bennett. I have no interest in retiring."
Tickets for the newly added shows (bolded below) go on Fan Presale, tomorrow Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. local time and they go on sale to the general public on Friday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. local time at bonnieraitt.com.
