Victoria Beckham's daughter, Harper, is sticking by her mom as tension between her oldest son and the rest of the family came to a head just over a week ago.
On Monday, the fashion designer became a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters, a designation granted by the French Ministry of Culture. The honor is awarded to individuals "who have made significant contributions to the fields of arts, literature, and culture in their own country and internationally," according to Vogue.com.
Presented at a small ceremony in Paris, along with her 14-year-old, Victoria's family including husband David, her sons Romeo and Cruise, and their significant others were all in attendance. However, her oldest son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz were notably absent as they recently announced their estrangement from the family in a scathing Instagram post.
The Spice Girls member took to Instagram with a carousel of photos and a lengthy caption thanking everyone for their support.

garnered tons of congratulatory comments for Beckham, including a special one from Harper, who largely stays out of the spotlight.
"My biggest role model," she wrote.

The honor for Beckham comes after Brooklyn blatantly wrote on Instagram that he does not wish to reconcile with his family after they've become distance since his 2022 wedding to Peltz. In his Instagram statement the 26-year-old alleged that his parents "have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding," and specifically shared how Victoria supposedly "danced inappropriately" with him, at the time of his first dance where the groom was supposed to be dancing with his new wife.
“The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family,'" Brooklyn also shared. "Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, l’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders."
Victoria and David have yet to publicly respond to their son's allegations. Victoria has kept up her social media posts however, having recently celebrated fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton's 50th birthday with a sweet photo. ?
