“Blowing and drifting snow remains our concern, creating slick and hazardous driving conditions in some areas,” the Illinois Department of Transportation said in a Facebook post Monday. “Our crews will continue operations with focus on managing any leftover snow and ice. Extreme cold weather will continue for most of Illinois today through this weekend.”
