On the occasion of the 77th Republic Day of India, I extend my warm greetings to all Indian nationals residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and to our esteemed friends in the Kingdom. The India–Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership continues to deepen, supported by strong political engagement and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors. A significant milestone in this journey was the April 2025 visit of the Prime Minister of India to Jeddah, which further elevated bilateral relations and reaffirmed our shared commitment to long-term collaboration. At the regional level, the Consulate General of India in Jeddah has worked actively to translate this partnership into tangible outcomes. Commercial engagement remains a key focus, with initiatives such as the Indian Gems and Jewellery Exhibition (SAJEX), Investment Connect programs, Buyer–Seller Meets, and the facilitation of trade and investment delegations in both directions. These efforts aim to strengthen economic cooperation and create mutually beneficial opportunities aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Port calls of Indian Naval Ships INS Surat and INS Tamal in the city of Jeddah symbolized friendship, cooperation, and the growing trust between our two nations. Cultural diplomacy and people-to-people ties also continue to serve as strong pillars of engagement. India’s participation in the Red Sea Film Festival, the celebration of the India Festival across various provinces, and community-led cultural initiatives such as Noor-e-Diwali and Organic Iftar have contributed to deeper cultural understanding and exchange. The welfare of Indian nationals remains a core priority. We extend our sincere gratitude to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as to the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the care and warm hospitality extended to Indian nationals living in the Kingdom. We also deeply appreciate the excellent cooperation of Saudi authorities in facilitating Hajj and Umrah, enabling pilgrims to undertake their sacred journey in safety and dignity. We remain committed to working closely with our Saudi counterparts to further enhance the pilgrim experience. I wish to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of the Indian community in the Kingdom, whose professionalism, dedication, and law-abiding conduct continue to strengthen the bonds of friendship between India and Saudi Arabia.
