The matchup is set for Super Bowl LX. Unfortunately, it does not feature the Chicago Bears. Instead, it will be the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks squaring off for the Lombardi Trophy on Feb. 8. In the meantime, the Bears (and 29 other NFL teams) are in full-on offseason mode. It’s not where I’d rather be, but that is neither here nor there.
We have a lot to dissect this offseason when it comes to Chicago’s football team. There will be coaching changes on Ben Johnson’s staff as he enters Year 2 as the Bears’ head coach. Player personnel changes are also on the horizon. And the pivot from being the hunter in 2025 to being the hunted in 2026 won’t make the season ahead an easy one to navigate. But we can cross that bridge when we get to it. Plus, it’s not as if we don’t have a ton of time to sort through the madness.
