A male pedestrian died Sunday after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run in West San Jose, officials said.
The San Jose Police Department said the fatal crash occurred near Borello Drive and South Bascom Avenue. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police said streets are closed off in the area.
