Two Mater Dei football players have confirmed their transfer to new schools and a third player has indicated a move via social media.

Wide receiver Gavin Honore, who is committed to George, has enrolled at Bishop Gorman of Nevada, the junior said on Friday.

Honore (5-10, 180) earned first-team All-Trinity League honors in the fall after collecting 23 receptions for 368 yards and two touchdowns.

He was expected to be Mater Dei’s top returning wide receiver in 2026. The Monarchs graduated top senior wide receivers Chris Henry Jr. (Ohio State) and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt (USC), and tight end Mark Bowman (USC).

Mater Dei and Bishop Gorman played in the fall for the second consecutive season.

Sophomore defensive back My-Kel Ramos (6-2, 170) confirmed on Wednesday that he has enrolled at Sierra Canyon.

Ramos recorded four passes defensed in four games last season. He counts Washington among his offers.

Mater Dei junior cornerback Aaryn Washington, who missed most of this past season with injury, has indicated on social media that he is transferring to IMG Academy in Florida.

    He recently committed to USC.

Mater Dei (8-3) earned a share of the Trinity League title last season. The Monarchs lost at Centennial 28-27 in the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals.
