Former Arizona Cardinals great Larry Fitzgerald committed to participating in the 2026 Annexus Pro-Am on Friday.
Fitzgerald will be joined by two-time Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith, who also announced their commitment.
The trio is the first group of celebrities to commit to the Pro-Am, which will take place Feb. 4 at TPC Scottsdale as one of the most anticipated events of the tournament week.

“The Annexus Pro-Am has become a destination for legendary competitors across the sports world,” WM Phoenix Open tournament chairman Jason Eisenberg said on Friday. “Bringing together athletes like Larry, Carli and Emmitt captures the spirit of the WM Phoenix Open — elite competition, larger-than-life personalities and an unforgettable experience for fans, partners and players alike.”
Fitzgerald spent 17 seasons with the Cardinals, earned 11 Pro Bowl selections and won the 2014 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award and the 2016 Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.
The Cardinals legend was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2024 and is one of 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s class of 2026. Fitzgerald led the FBS in receiving yards and touchdowns in his All-American 2003 season when he was the Heisman runner-up playing for Pitt.
Lloyd is a two-time FIFA World Cup champion and two-time FIFA World Player of the Year who played 17 years with the U.S. Women’s National Team. She finished her international career with 134 goals in 316 appearances.
The two-time Olympic gold medalist was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2025, is a New York Times best-selling author and serves as a FOX Sports analyst.
Smith played 15 years in the NFL, ending his career in Arizona. He retired as the NFL’s all-time leader in rushing yards (18,335) and touchdowns (164) after spending 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and two seasons with the Cardinals.
The Hall of Fame running back is a three-time Super Bowl champion, eight-time Pro Bowler and the 1993 NFL MVP. This will be Smith’s seventh Annexus Pro-Am, and he captured the WHOOP Shot at Glory in 2016.
