Like a majority of the U.S., meteorologist Ginger Zee is waiting on the incoming winter weather predicted to hit this weekend.
Soaking up the last bit of sun and above-freezing temps, Zee took to Instagram with a selfie video on Thursday in light makeup, a hoodie, and jeans, ahead of the major winter storm expected to impact a majority of the country.
"Basking in the sun and low 40s because we will not get above 32 degrees from Friday evening through at least the beginning of February," she wrote. Crediting GMA's senior meteorologist Samantha Wnek with the info, Zee also showed a map with the freezing point around the country. "It’s about to get ugly for a prolonged period of cold," she added.

Zee, of course, has already been on the clock as she apeared on GMA on Friday, sharing the latest on the forecast, showing a map that was "lit up with warnings."
Of the predicted below freezing temperatures in some spots around the country she warned, "that cold is brutal."
Later in Friday's broadcast she asked a Florida correspondent, "Can we please come to Orlando because you are one of the only spots on this map that is not going to be hit by this massive winter storm." ?
