The Dancing With The Stars live tour has officially kicked off but the production company just announced that they're doing things a little differently for this run.
Ahead of the opening show on Thursday night (Jan. 22) a safety announcement was made on the tour's official social media accounts. In the post, the production team shared that the pros and their celebrity partners will not be able to meet fans after the show due to health and safety concerns.
"To help protect the health and safety of our cast and crew and due to the extensive tour we are about to embark on, we wish to inform you that the cast of DWTS LIVE will not be able to come outside the venues to say hi to anyone after the show," the announcement began.

The statement continued, "This policy is intended to ensure the health and safety of our cast and crew so that they will be able to perform night after night across the country for you."
The production team added that fans of the show mean "everything" to the entire cast and crew and that they appreciate the support and understanding.
DWTS pro Ezra Sosa echoed the statement in his own post, sharing that he was incredibly disappointed by the decision, as meeting fans after the show is one of his favorite parts of the tour.
"I was really sad when they made that decision but ultimately it is the safest and healthiest thing for all of us," Sosa said. "Getting to meet all of you is probably one of the funnest things about tour...The fact that I can't physically see every one of you really does hurt."
Sosa added that he hopes fans will spread the news so that no one is left waiting outside while trying to meet the cast.

"Probably was such a hard decision to make but honestly a respectable one," one commenter wrote, while another added, "Hearing this breaks my heart, but I’m ultimately happy that you guys are making your safety priority."
Although the cast won't be outside the venue, the tour is still moving forward with VIP tickets, which includes an interactive experience and a photo op with some of the touring pros.
