The '80s metal band was forced to postpone their upcoming concert in Pocola, Okla., on Saturday, Jan. 24 as the result of "inclement weather" headed that way.
The cancellation was announced in a message posted to the band's official social media pages on Wednesday, Jan. 21, as the group let fans know that the show is being rescheduled and will now take place in May.

In their post on Wednesday, Queensrÿche wrote, "Due to expected inclement weather, the Queensrÿche concert scheduled for January 24, 2026 has been canceled. All Ticketmaster purchases for the show will be refunded."
"The concert will be rescheduled for May 9, 2026, and guests will need to purchase new tickets for the rescheduled date."

Most fans online were understanding about the unfortunate situation, with several users on Facebook pointing out, "Better safe than sorry."

Despite the postponement of this weekend's show, Queensrÿche still has a multitude of tour stops scheduled for the next few months, including a stop in Niagara Falls set for next month.
The band will also be passing through U.S. cities like Columbia, Md.; Lynn, Mass. and Lincoln City, Ore. in the spring, before heading overseas for a number of international shows at venues in Germany, Belgium, France, Norway, United Kingdom and more.
