Taylor Swift has earned a round of applause from Nancy Sinatra, the daughter of late music icon, Frank Sinatra.
After the "You Belong With Me" singer was officially announced as a member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame 2026 class, Nancy took to social media to issue a public message to Swift, 36, for the massive achievement.

"This is a huge accomplishment!" Nancy, 85, wrote in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Jan. 21. "Sincere congratulations to Taylor."

— Nancy Sinatra (@NancySinatra) January 21, 2026Swift enters the Songwriters Hall of Fame as the youngest woman to ever be inducted. She also becomes the organization's second-youngest artist to ever be inducted, following Stevie Wonder, who was 32 when he got the honor in 1983.
The pop superstar was nominated for first time this year, and it happens to also be the first year she was eligible. To qualify for the prestigious honor, a songwriter's first commercially released song must be at least 20 years old. (Swift's debut single, "Tim McGraw," arrived in June 2006.)
Before voting began, each nominee had to submit five songs from their catalog for consideration. Swift chose a variety of her well-known hits, including "Love Story," "Blank Space" and "Anti-Hero," as well as the folklore track "The Last Great American Dynasty" and the fan-favorite deep cut, "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)."
Along with Swift, other notable songwriters who were voted in as part of this year's class of inductees include Kenny Loggins, Alanis Morissette, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS, Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, Walter Afanasieff and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.
The Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
