Netflix has released a trailer for a new documentary feature on Lucy Letby, the former neonatal nurse who was found guilty of murdering seven babies under her care.
The Investigation of Lucy Letby, which according to the streamer will feature “new materials and testimony from the British police who investigated the case and never-before-seen footage of Letby during her arrest and questioning”, will launch on the platform on 4th February 2026.
The new documentary, which is being produced by ITN Productions, will also feature the mother of one of the victims speaking about her experiences and involvement in Letby’s trial.
This will mark the first time that a family member involved in the prosecution has spoken in a documentary.
The Investigation of Lucy Letby will also include interviews with experts and lawyers from both sides of the case, and promises to give “the most comprehensive look at one of Britain's most notorious crimes”.

Her crimes, which were committed between June 2015 and June 2016 at the Countess of Chester Hospital, make her the UK’s most prolific child murderer in modern times.
Letby’s case was previously examined in documentaries by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5.
