Patricia Heaton is flashing back to 2001 as she shares a sentimental message on social media.
The sitcom star, 67, shared a series of throwback photos to Instagram on Wednesday, Jan. 21, as she remembered wearing Valentino to the 2001 Emmy Awards, during which she was photographed alongside her late Everybody Loves Raymond co-star, the beloved Doris Roberts.

In the caption of her post, Heaton paid tribute to fashion designer Valentino Garavanifollowing his death at age 93 on Monday, Jan. 19.
The photos from the 2001 award show feature Heaton wearing a sophisticated brown Valentino dress while posing alongside Roberts, her onscreen mother-in-law on Everybody Loves Raymond.
Roberts, who won four Emmys for her role as Marie Barone, died of a stroke in 2016 at the age of 90.

The 2001 Emmys were initially scheduled to take place in September that year, but the ceremony was ultimately postponed until November as a result of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
In Heaton's photo montage, Roberts could be seen wearing an American flag pin as an apparent show of support for those who lost their lives in the tragic events of that day.
"Ellen Degeneres hosted [the Emmys] and noted in her monologue that the night was being hosted by a woman…who is also gay-which is everything the terrorists are against," Heaton continued in her caption. "A subtle, powerful reminder that love, individuality, and art always outshine fear. ?"
The Middle alum also added a number of hashtags at the end of her post, including, "#valentino," "#restinpeace" and "fashionicon."
