Orange County’s most reliable excuse to book dinner plans is back. OC Restaurant Week will return Sunday, March 8 through Saturday, March 14., bringing a countywide slate of prix-fixe menus, themed dining options and cocktails-heavy specials aimed at getting locals out of the house and into dining rooms from Brea to San Clemente.
Back for its 18th year, the annual ode to local food, produced by the Orange County Restaurant Association, has grown into one of the region’s biggest dining promotions designed to spotlight both longtime favorites and newer eateries looking to win repeat customers.
“OC Restaurant Week has never been just about specially priced menus, it’s about how it feels to dine out and connect with family and friends,” said Pamela Waitt, founder of OC Restaurant Week and president of OC Restaurant Association, Inc. “There’s a shared understanding that something meaningful is happening across our community as we celebrate the many individuals who are the backbone of our culinary community, from owners and chefs, to cooks and servers.”

Diners can search participating restaurants by price range, type of cuisine and city, while also honing in on special dining themes, including Date Night, Brunch and Breakfast, Vegetarian Dining, Family Friendly, Luxe Menus and Wine Pairings. Price range from the tasty-yet-affordable to more special-occasion, high-end affairs.
Among the early lineup this year are coastal heavy-hitters like 21 Oceanfront Restaurant (in Newport Beach, $75 prix-fixe dinner) and Five Crowns and Sidedoor (Corona Del Mar, $80 prix-fixe dinner), alongside destination dining rooms like Summit House (Fullerton, $92 prix-fixe dinner) and Seabutter (Laguna Beach, $99 sushi dinner).

Other choice spots include Bloom Restaurant and Bar (San Juan Capistrano, $60 three-course dinner) and Fermentation Farm (Costa Mesa and San Juan Capistrano, $15 breakfast, $25 lunch).
No tickets or passes required, either show up to the restaurant of your choice or, better yet, book a reservation in advance.
