CHARLOTTE, N.Y. — The 40th Annual Lakeside Winter Celebration is set to take place at Ontario Beach Park. The event will begin on Saturday, Jan. 31, and will run through Feb 1.
Activities on Saturday will be held from noon to 4 p.m. and include a snow sculpture contest, a chili contest, and ice sculpture demonstrations.
Additional activities on Saturday include horse-drawn wagon rides, food and drinks, arts/crafts, live music in a heated tent, among other aspects.
Saturday will end with fireworks over the Genesee River around 6:15 p.m.
The Polar Plunge, benefiting Special Olympics New York, will occur at noon on Sunday.
Admission to the Winter Celebration is free.
