ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Enforcement of Rochester’s School Bus Safety Program is set to begin on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.
Mayor Malik Evans will join RCSD and Bus Patrol leaders to give updated data from the program and detail the next steps as the enforcement begins.
Stop-arm cameras were installed on Rochester City School District buses on Nov. 3 to catch drivers illegally passing stopped school buses. The warning period ends tomorrow, and drivers caught on camera will receive fines instead of warnings.
Fines will start at $250.
