Straight from Hollywood, Dancing with the Stars Live heads out on tour across America with your favorite celebrity and professional dancers beginning Jan. 22 at the Akron Civic Theatre in Akron, Ohio, with a show demonstrating a mix of Latin, ballroom, and contemporary numbers — as well as group routines, duets and medleys inspired by the just-finished Season 34 of Dancing With The Stars.
“There is a theme,” Dancing with the Stars: Live co-host Emma Slater exclusively tells Parade. “It is still in development right now, so I’m not able to share that. Our choreographer, Mandy Moore, she is so good at, [as] she calls it, "threading the needle," through the top of the show all the way to the end. So, there’ll be moments that you’ll see that we will progress, we will have key elements that will pop up throughout the show, and we have a really incredible set this year. It is different from the other sets that we’ve had, it is more expensive, which we love. It’s going to be the whole bells and whistles and that’s going to be a really big part of the theme too.”

Bringing the spectacle of the ballroom to your city, including loads of costume changes, the approximately two-hour tour choreographed by Emmy-winning director/choreographer Moore will be performed by the cast of professional dancers seen on the show, along with a rotating cast of special celebrity guests.
“We’re going to see some classic numbers from the TV show,” Emma says. “We think it’s important to have those memorable key moments that got the celebrities as far as they got, so there will be some revisits from the TV show, some fan favorites. Those are still being decided at the moment.”

Which celebrities are taking part in the 2026 Dancing with the Stars Tour?
"We’ve done this multiple times before, where we’ve had celebrities interchangeable come in and out, and basically they will have the co-hosting role track or they’ll have a guest role track,” Emma says of the celebs scheduled for the 2026 tour. “And so those celebrities, everything will be personalized to them, but they will have specific tracks that they will be able to slot in and out of.”
