ROCHESTER, N.Y. — One person has been detained after a shooting that took place on Lake Avenue near Charlotte Saturday night, according to Rochester Police.
Police say at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, they got a call for a report of a person shot on Lake Avenue. When officers got there, they found a 48-year-old man shot once in the upper body.
The victim was brought to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive. Police say although one person has been detained, it is not clear if charges will be filed.
