Former Ohio State safety Faheem Delane has committed to LSU, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Delane is a former top-100 recruit from the class of 2025 and is the younger brother of ex-LSU star cornerback Mansoor Delane.

He’ll follow in his brother’s footsteps by joining LSU. Mansoor transferred to LSU from Virginia Tech ahead of the 2025 season and had an All-America campaign for the Tigers. Delane is expected to be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft later this spring.
Although LSU made a change at head coach this year, the Tigers have retained defensive coordinator Blake Baker for the 2026 season. That means Faheem Delane will play for the same DC that his brother excelled with in 2025.
According to Pro Football Focus, Delane played 81 total snaps as a true freshman for Ohio State this season. He figures to have a bigger role as a sophomore with LSU next season.
