The third, and final, Chicago Bears injury report ahead of the team’s NFC Divisional Round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams is out. And it is mostly good news for Chicago’s football team. This is as good as an injury report gets this time of year, so I’ll take it without thinking twice about it.
As far as I’m concerned, wide receiver Rome Odunze getting upgraded to full participation on Friday’s Bears injury report is the best news that could have come from the injury report. Odunze was limited in Wednesday’s walk-through and Thursday’s practice session before being moved to full-go status. The 23-year-old played on 69.2 percent of Chicago’s offensive snaps in the thrilling win against the Green Bay Packers on Wild Card Saturday. Odunze was targeted six times and came up with two catches and 44 receiving yards. As we discussed in Bullets earlier, Odunze said he was going to play. So, as far as I’m concerned, the Bears injury report backs up the receiver’s claim.
BEARS-RAMS PREVIEW: TWO CLOSERS, ONE FROZEN STAGE
Also receiving a move up on the injury report was fellow wide receiver DJ Moore, who also went from limited to full participation on Friday. Moore has been dealing with a knee issue, but has no game day designation. Hence, it is expected that he will be good to go with no limitations. Phew. Joining Moore in being a full participant on the Bears injury report are defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson (concussion), linebacker Amen Ogbongbemiga (concussion), defensive lineman Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (concussion), and offensive lineman Braxton Jones (knee).

Meanwhile, linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin (back) was downgraded from being a full participant in Thursday’s practice to practicing in a limited capacity on Friday. The special teams ace is questionable for Sunday night’s game.
