AUBURN, N.Y. — Two people have been arrested after State Police say they assaulted multiple correction officers at Auburn Correctional Facility in 2024.
State Police say the assault happened on Aug. 21, 2024, during an inmate movement within the facility. They say multiple officers were injured and brought to the hospital, with one officer remaining out of work due to injuries.
The assault was investigated and presented to a grand jury. As a result, on Jan. 13, 2026, 34-year-old Errol Fowler-Graham and 33-year-old Shaquan Brown were charged with six counts of assault in the second degree.
Both of them were processed without incident and returned to the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
